THE EDITION

A quick start for every control.

Learn the inputs for a moving hook, an approaching lane and a five-frame bowling session before choosing your first round.

Hold an attempt or begin a fresh one

The original games distinguish holding an attempt from discarding it. Pause suspends the current action and Resume returns to that same state. Reset abandons the attempt and restores the ready screen. Check the actual control label so the action you choose matches the break or fresh start you intended.

With the game focused, P or Escape pauses an active round. Space may start, resume or perform the current action according to the game state. A selected slider or text field has its own input behaviour, so give the play surface focus before expecting a game shortcut to apply.

Select a consistent way to control the game

In Tidebend and Glimmer Run, pointer movement within the scene selects a horizontal target; direction buttons and focused arrow-key input offer alternatives. Lane & Roll centres on Aim and Power, and pointer positioning can also set its aim before the ball is released.

Practise a full attempt with one input method before switching. A stable method makes it easier to distinguish a timing error from an unfamiliar pointer movement or control adjustment. Once the action feels clear, compare another method under the same game conditions.

Follow the guide that answers your question

Each field guide follows a different decision. Tidebend traces a cast through to a landed fish; Glimmer Run examines space, coins and shields; Lane & Roll uses fresh racks to compare aiming lines and delivery strength. Open the guide that matches the question your last round raised.
